How to join the St. James Police Youth Club

 
The following requirements are needed to become a member of the St. James Police Youth Club / Project Excel Youth Outreach Unit:

 
1. All persons must submit a completed application form together with two passport size pictures for the purpose of registration.

2. On becoming a member you are required to be outfitted with a fushia pink t-shirt, track pants or jeans  and proper foot wear (Sneakers and socks). This outfit must be worn on Saturdays or for official meetings and for special outdoor activities. These meetings are usually held at the Youth Club Center, between the hours of 1:00-7:00 pm.

3. All members are also required to make a monthly contribution  per month. Same should be paid every last Saturday of each month. Please note that this goes towards the up keep and maintenance of the Centre.


4. All parents must make every effort to attend Parent Meeting. This is usually held every month. Parents are normally informed via a phone call.

5. Members attending activities at our Centre must be properly attired. Failure to do so will result in  members being instructed to leave and their parents will be informed via telephone.

6. When attending formal functions such as Dinners, Church Services, and Ushering etc, male members are required to be dressed in white long sleeve shirts, black pants, and dress shoes complemented by their black socks. They will be outfitted with a bow-tie (complement) the Police Youth Club. As it pertains to the female members they are allowed to dress similar, however, an official uniform is being designed for the above mentioned services

7. All the members on arrival each day at the Centre must make an appropriate entry of their name, date and arrival time in the attendance register assigned to the Centre and same should be done when leaving the building. In addition they must also indicate their arrival to the Manager first or in his absence, the most senior person in attendance.
